Thanksgiving

1 Thessalonians 5:18

18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Introduction: 

When we obey this command, it will produce an attitude of gratitude and so much more!

The Bible says to give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Few things I want to share with you:

1. Count our blessings, not our burdens

The Bible tells us over 365 times not to worry and to ‘cast your cares on the Lord,’ (Psalm 55:22)

2. How can we thank God for His blessings in hard times?

Being thankful to God has to be a choice especially when everything around us seems to be falling apart.

3. Benefits of being thankful to God

 Having a thankful attitude of heart actually opens up an avenue for God to bring His blessings.

Conclusion: 

Psalm 34:8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!
